Manchester United's Luke Shaw has rated Danny Rose as the best left-back in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old is vying for a starting spot in the England team with the Tottenham Hotspur ace and he is well aware it will be a tough task to push in front of him in Sam Allardyce's plans.
Shaw, who has welcomed the challenge, said ahead of Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Slovakia: "There have been a lot of good left-backs who have emerged over the last year, and now especially Danny Rose who was the best left-back last season for me.
"The challenge for me is good. I want to be playing with the best, and fighting for a position against the best players.
"That's only going to push us both, and those who haven't been picked."
