Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen remains focused on football amid rumours linking him with Real Madrid, according to his agent Martin Schoots.

The Dane has to yet to follow the lead of Harry Kane and Dele Alli by agreeing an extension with the north London club.

Eriksen's current deal will expire in 2020, but Schoots insists the outside noise is not disrupting his focus.

"Christian only wants to focus himself on football," Eriksen's agent Martin Schoots told ESPN.

"Besides his technical, tactical and athletic skills, also this attitude has contributed over the years to his impressive transformation from world-class talent to world-class player.

"At this moment I would prefer not to join the speculations about contracts and transfers."
