Tottenham skipper Hugo Lloris has paid tribute to Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

France's World Cup winners will be reunited on Monday night at Old Trafford.

Lloris told L'Equipe: "It has been shown that the French player had personality and that we were strong together. If we are not strong together, we explode at the first obstacle.

"There are players on this level who have revealed themselves. For example Paul. He was always told to focus on the team, and he could not do it better than he did during the World Cup. He served the team from start to finish, and he was rewarded.

"We have all been rewarded."
