Tottenham's finances are being weighed down by their overloaded goalkeeper stocks.
The People says Hugo Lloris's £60,000-a-week deal means Spurs are forking out around £200,000 each week on Lloris, Brad Friedel, Heurelho Gomes and Carlo Cudicini.
Since Lloris's arrival, Spurs have been trying to shunt either Brazilian Gomes or veteran Italian Cudicini out on loan - but there are no takers.
Friedel is a free agent in the summer and is expected to move on then - although he will not give up his slot just now without a fight.
Gomes and Cudicini are unlikely to take a loan move to the Championship.
Spurs let understudy David Button go to Charlton, but he was on around £2,000-a-week basic - a fraction of Lloris's deal.
