Tottenham are set to double the wages of their centre-back Toby Alderweireld to ward off Inter Milan's interest in the player.
The Belgian is currently on £50,000-a-week wages, and according to The Mirror, Spurs are prepared to offer him a new deal which will effectively double his current wages.
The 28-year-old still has two years left on his current deal and Spurs also have an option for an additional year.
The new deal would put Alderweireld on par with club's top earners such as Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.
