Vincent Janssen has been handed a lifeline at Tottenham.

The striker is not a major part of Mauricio Pochettino's plans.

However, Spurs were unable to sell or loan Janssen to an interested club before the transfer window shuts.

And now he has been added to their Premier League squad, per the Evening Standard.

Pochettino informed Janssen of the decision on Friday.

It is unclear if he will get any game time, but he has between now and the end of the season to impress his boss.

And given Harry Kane is still a few weeks away from returning, there is plenty of game time available should Janssen impress in training.
