Tottenham are set for a clear run at QPR midfielder Eberechi Eze.
The Sun says rivals Crystal Palace and Sheffield United dropped out of the race to sign the youngster, after QPR valued Eze at £20million, leaving Spurs with a clear run at the 21-year-old.
Spurs have been interested in Eze, as Mourinho looks to make his mark on the Tottenham squad for next season.
Eze has impressed in the Championship over the past couple of seasons, and subsequently attracted attention from a number of Premier League clubs.
But, after QPR demanded £20m for the midfielder, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United both dropped out of the transfer race.
That's left just Tottenham in pursuit of the youngster.
