Tottenham have a deal for Supersport United defender Bongani Khumalo.
Supersport coach Gavin Hunt said on the weekend that Khumalo was a Spurs player as far as he was concerned, though no contracts have been signed.
Khumalo impressed Harry Redknapp on trial at White Hart Lane last week, and an agreement was expected to be signed before yesterday's deadline - but it may be a precontract to come into effect next season.
This would give Hunt another season with Khumalo.
