Tottenham's Walker set to miss rest of season

Kyle Walker's campaign appears to be over after it was revealed he is set to be sidelined for another month.

The Tottenham defender sustained an injury in the 0-0 draw with Burnley on April 5 and it was initially feared that he had fractured a bone in his foot.

While he was cleared of any serious damage, Spurs released a statement on Wednesday indicating that England right-back Walker would be out for another four weeks which is expected to force him out for the remaining five Premier League fixtures.

"Following further examination and consultation, the Club can confirm that Kyle Walker is expected to be sidelined for a further four weeks as he continues his recovery from a foot injury," read the statement on the club's official website.
