Tottenham's Luongo targeting Wembley with Swindon Town

Massimo Luongo admits he would love to set foot on Wembley Stadium with Swindon Town but is not getting ahead of himself.

The 20-year old Australian midfielder is on loan to Town from Tottenham and preparing for the League One playoff semi-finals this weekend.

Town host Brentford in the first leg at the County Ground before heading to Griffin Park a couple of days later with a Wembley promotion playoff against either Sheffield United or Yeovil Town on the cards which Luongo would love to be a part of.

"It would be privilege to play there. It's one of those places every player wants to play at during their career but first we must get through two tough legs against Brentford, who are a good footballing side and were unlucky not to win automatic promotion," he told SBS.

"So it's going to be very difficult but the reward is immense for this club. I actually think playing Brentford will suit us because, like them, we're more of a footballing side and hopefully that will bring out the best in us.

"In reality, the thought of possibly playing at Wembley hasn't hit me yet, perhaps because there's a lot of football to be played before we get there."
