Tottenham's Dawson hoping to move on from West Ham defeat

Michael Dawson is hoping Tottenham can put things right against Aston Villa after the shock 3-0 home defeat by West Ham United. "The first three days when I woke up my first thought was 'how did we lose that game?'" Dawson told the club's official website.

"We were all gutted. It was never a 3-0 game. Defensively, it was massive disappointment. Now we have to put it right.

"When you are winning, everything takes care of itself.

"But you have to earn the right to win. You can't just walk out there and do it.

"We will now look to go out and win against Villa. A loss like West Ham is always in the back of your mind but you have to move on. In football, you get the chance to do it."
