MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has touched on his club's successful youth academy that has helped set up the club for the future.
The reformed Dons, who relocated from Wimbledon in 2004, gained automatic promotion from League One to the Championship on the weekend and are now planning for life in England's second tier.
What will assist the Milton Keynes club in making that step up is the money they have made from the sales of some of their star youngsters including Dele Alli (Tottenham), Sheyi Ojo (Liverpool), Brendan Galloway (Everton) and George Williams (Fulham) which Robinson knows will be vital in their future plans.
"We've sold nearly £11.5million of players and seen some of the best players this country's going to see playing for us," Robinson said in the Daily Mail.
"The money goes into the stadium and the club's development so it will be here for years. In the Championship, we might have to change it and spend a bit more money and I think the chairman is up for that.
"It's exciting to think how far we might take it. Who knows where the club will be in another five years. We're still a long way from where we want to be."
