Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has failed to show up for international duty with Togo.

Just a day after he was left out of Spurs' Premier League and Europa League squads, a Togo official has confirmed to Sky Sports that Adebayor was selected in the squad to face Djibouti on Friday, but has not turned up.

The official said: "He has not given us a reason. He was in the squad but he has just not shown up."
