Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean is determined to keep Christopher Samba.
Arsenal have been joined by Tottenham in their interest for Samba.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was linked with a move for the £12million-rated defender in January, but felt he was covered in that position.
Rovers boss Kean said: "The owners were fantastic in January in giving the likes of Chris Samba and Phil Jones new five-year contracts.
"By doing that we were protecting our investments. Hopefully we can fight off as many bids as we can.
"We will fight tooth and nail to keep players."
