Tottenham are chasing AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
The Daily Star Sunday says Spurs have a long-standing interest in Pjanic, whose contract is up at the end of next season.
Pjanic, 23, is valued at £20million by Roma - currently league leaders in Italy's Serie A.
Boss Andre Villas-Boas will continue to keep close tabs on the player who scored twice nine days ago as Roma made it eight wins from eight Serie A games against second-placed Napoli.
