Tottenham have registered their interest in signing Islam Slimani.

The Leicester City man, who is on loan at AS Monaco, is wanted as a depth option by the North London club, claims France Football.

Slimani has also been linked to Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Any deal would have to involve Leicester cancelling his loan at Monaco and then selling or loaning him to another club.

Slimani struggled in the Premier League with Leicester, which is why a move to another club in the same division is raising eyebrows with many fans.
