Tottenham are reportedly interested in luring Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The north London club are looking for a replacement for Mousa Dembele whose contract will end in 18 months.

They have been watching the performances of Kondogbia, who is playing for Valencia on loan from Italian club Inter Milan.

Kondogbia has been impressive for Valencia so far this season who are surprising challenging Barcelona for the League title so far this season.

He was deemed surplus to requirements at Inter when manager Luciano Spalletti arrived at the club during the summer.

It could however be difficult for Spurs to lure the player as Valencia have a right to buy at the end of the season.

Kondogbia has represented France at all levels from U16 through to the senior side.
