Tottenham have jumped ahead of Manchester United in the race for Bordeaux striker Malcom.
United boss Jose Mourinho is a fan of the Brazilian and there has been talk of a deal being done involving Malcom being loaned back to Bordeaux for the second-half of the season.
However, several Brazilian media sources are reporting Spurs slapped in a major bid for Malcom on Friday.
Tottenham have offered €34.6m for the attacker.
United have also bid €37m for Malcom, but Bordeaux are demanding €56m to sell in January.
It's claimed in Brazil that Bordeaux and Malcom have a gentleman's agreement that he will be allowed to leave without obstacles at the end of the season.
