Tottenham are in the early stages of bidding for Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij.

The centre-half, who has excelled for the Italian champions in the past few seasons, has a contract with Inter until 2023.

According to Inter Live, the 30-year-old is a key target for Spurs boss Antonio Conte in the summer.

The report suggests that De Vrij could be sold if a bid of roughly £30 million arrives.

The most likely suitor is Spurs or another Premier League club, with Spurs ready to offer him a four-year deal worth £5.3 million per annum.
