Tottenham are ready to go big in their pursuit of Roma wonderkid Nicolo Zaniolo.

According to The Mirror, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of the midfielder.

The 19-year-old had his breakthrough season in Serie A with the capital club this term.

Pochettino badly wants to sign central midfielders this summer to improve his squad.

And Zaniolo, who played in 35 games this season, would fit the bill.

However, he would cost at least £40million, with other top clubs showing an interest.

Other players who Spurs may target include Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.
