Tottenham open talks with Bordeaux attacker Malcom

Tottenham have opened talks with Bordeaux attacker Malcom.

The Sun says Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has long been on the trail of the Brazilian, who hit 12 goals in 38 games for his Ligue 1 club last season.

And reports in France claim White Hart Lane chiefs have reopened discussions with their Bordeaux opposite numbers about a deal for the 21-year-old.

The officials are also said to have got back in contact with Malcom's advisors.

Inter Milan had made strenuous efforts to land Malcom, but are understood to have cooled their interest faced with his club's £45million valuation.

The right winger has also attracted interest from Arsenal, while Chelsea are believed to have considered him as a replacement if in-demand talisman Eden Hazard leaves Stamford Bridge.
