Tottenham open talks for Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla

Tottenham have opened talks with Hellas Verona for defender Marash Kumbulla.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Spurs are in contact with Hellas Verona for Kumbulla.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho will be eager to splash the cash in the summer and defence will be a priority with Jan Vertonghen set to leave.

The Belgian failed to be offloaded in January and now looks set to depart the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Spurs have reached out to Verona to find out his availability.

The report suggests it would take around €30m (£26.6m) to convince the Serie A side to do business.
