Tottenham have been offered Philippe Coutinho by Barcelona.

Spurs have been handed the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho on loan from Barcelona, according to Football Insider.

Chelsea and Newcastle United have been linked with the former Liverpool playmaker as the Catalan giants attempt to offload the 27-year-old.

Barca are willing to sanction a loan deal by offering him to Spurs.

They're asking for a €10 million (£8.9m) fee up front and insisting Coutinho's wages - believed to be £200,000-a-week - are paid in full.
