Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks is considering ankle surgery on-loan with Sampdoria.
After being a much-anticipated signing in the summer, he is still yet to make a single appearance for the club due to struggling with injury.
Sampdoria coach Dejan Stankovic also confirmed he is still yet to see the player on the pitch.
According to Il Secolo XIX, Winks is now considering surgery to help fix his ankle problem.
He is set to meet an international specialist next Monday when he will make a final decision on what to do.
If the midfielder does take the surgery option, Winks would be set to miss around three to four months.
