Moussa Sissoko has hinted of a return to France in the near future.
The Tottenham midfielder has come into his own in London after a horror debut season last term.
However, the 28-year-old says he plans to one day play in his homeland.
"When I look at the French championship, yes I miss it a bit," he told SFR Sport.
"It was where I started, I have a lot of friends who still play [in Ligue 1], I think it would be nice to play against them.
"But at the same time, I'm very happy to be here, it's [the Premier League] a championship I've always wanted to play in."
Sissoko begun his career at Toulouse where made over 200 appearances in six years before joining Newcastle United in 2013.
