Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko was delighted to be part of their 1-0 Champions League win over Manchester City.

Heung-min Son struck late on to give Spurs the advantage for their quarterfinal tie.

Sissoko said: "Of course, we are very happy about the performance of today. City are one of the best teams in the world but we were playing at home in front of our fans with this amazing stadium so we knew we could do it.

"I think our desire (made the difference).

"We worked as a team from the beginning to the end and Hugo kept us in the game with his big save at the beginning."
