Tottenham midfielder Lucas: Cup win at Burnley very important

Tottenham midfielder Lucas Moura was delighted proving their matchwinner for last night's Carabao Cup win at Burnley.

Lucas headed home Emerson Royal's cross as last year's finalists scraped into the last-eight and they will discover their opponents in Saturday's draw.

“It was a very important win, especially after the defeat against West Ham and before the game against United," Lucas told the London Evening Standard.

“The feeling was very bad against West Ham because we played well and didn't deserve to lose, and last night the feeling was very good. We played well, it was a very good performance, we deserved to win and now we go with everything against United.

“Why not win [the Carabao Cup]? It is another opportunity to get a trophy. It is a short route to get a trophy and we will fight. My objective is to get a trophy, always be a champion. We will fight for this and always give our best and the Carabao Cup is a good opportunity for us.
