Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks was pleased with victory at Cardiff City.

Spurs won 3-0 via goals to Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min.

Winks said, "The first goal is massive against a team like Cardiff because the longer the game goes on, the more they have belief - it settles the crowd. It was what we needed.

"It was a must-win, key game for us coming into it.

"We knew we had to win after the poor result against Wolves and we did that perfectly."
