Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen could yet turn out for Denmark against Wales on Sunday.
Eriksen and his Denmark team-mates missed last night's 3-0 friendly defeat in Slovakia and were replaced by lower league rookies and five-a-side players following the row over fees and commercial rights.
But Danish FA chairman Jesper Moller gave hope a resolution could be found before the clash with the Welsh in Aarhus.
Moller said: "I will not rule out anything now. I'm a positive person and we are talking together. There is dialogue between the parties.
"The national team players want to play the match against Wales. There is a dispute about the commercial rights so we cannot just lean back in the chair and sign.
"But we are committed to making the best possible team against Wales."
