Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen says the players want manager Mauricio Pochettino to stay.

The Argentine is among the favourites to succeed Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid should he walk away at the end of this season.

But fresh from their 2-2 draw at Champions League opponents Juventus, Eriksen stated: "No, as I said before, the players are happy with him and the club is very happy with him.

"Of course, that's his decision. But I think what he's building here, he'd like to be part of it. I think that's what he showed when he signed his new contract, a long-term contract. Of course, there will be interest from other clubs because it is very good, but I hope he will stay."
