Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen remains hopeful of securing a move away before the summer market shuts.

ESPN says the Danish midfielder is out of contract at the end of the current season and will look to leave Spurs on a free once his deal has expired.

However, Eriksen has set his sights on a move to just three sides - Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Juventus.

That would scupper any hopes Man Utd had of persuading the 27-year-old on a switch to Old Trafford, after they were interested in signing him before the transfer window.

The report adds that Eriksen has already told Spurs that he will not be extending his current deal with the club as he wants to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
