Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier admits being hooked by Jose Mourinho was tough to take.
Dier had the indignity of being hauled off 29 minutes into Mourinho's second game in charge against Olympiakos.
But he says, "It's never happened before and it's not something you ever want to happen.
"It's not a good sign, is it? So you're upset but I completely understood his reasons.
"He spoke to me after the game and I completely understood his reasons and we were losing 2-0. I always say, we were losing 2-0 and we won 4-2 so he was right."
