Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli hails relationship with Kane

Tottenham star Dele Alli has hailed his relationship with England and Spurs teammate Harry Kane.

The two attackers are a key part of the Spurs team that will be hoping to make improvements under Jose Mourinho for the rest of the season.

Alli, who has endured injury struggles for the past 12 months, is hoping to find his best form. And he has hailed his relationship with Kane after their 4-2 win over Olympiacos, where Alli got a goal and assist.

"It's amazing playing with Harry," said Alli to reporters.

"He's an amazing guy and a top player. Everyone knows how good he is and I'm not surprised he broke another record. For me, he's always been in the category with the best in the world.

"When you're playing behind him, all you need to do is feed him the ball and he'll score. It makes my job a lot easier. He does a lot of work off the ball which is amazing. We connect well, ever since I joined really.

"When you're playing with a player like that, you don't have to think too much about where they're going. You just have to look at the space and look at his movement and it's easier to tell where he's heading: towards the goal."
