Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has reported a potential return date for attacker Heung-Min Son.

The South Korean winger is struggling with a hamstring injury.

But Mourinho hopes that he can call on Son after the upcoming international break, which will be a welcome boost to his team.

"I expect to have him back after the international period and you give me the opportunity to speak about it," Mourinho said after the Chelsea game.

"I hope the national team coaches they have their data and they realise how many minutes Tottenham players have played this week and I hope they care about the players and they protect them because Tottenham players this week they have an incredible amount of minutes and work and it's very, very dangerous."

Spurs are facing fixture congestion, having played against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Now they have games on Thursday and Sunday in the Europa League and Premier League respectively.
