The Belgium defender is off contract in June and listening to pre-contract offers from across Europe.

Inter Milan, AC Milan and former club Ajax have all expressed interest.

But the Telegraph says Spurs aren't ready to give up on the 33 year-old.

Indeed, talks have now resumed about a new 12-month contract extension between all parties involved.
