Tottenham legend and former England boss Glenn Hoddle has savaged Ryan Sessegnon after a red card against Mura in the Europa League.

The 21-year-old got a chance to start for Spurs under new boss Antonio Conte.

However, Sessegnon did not survive for more than 31 minutes, getting a second yellow card and his marching orders by the referee.

Asked about Sessengon, Hoddle said on BT Sport: "Once you're on a yellow card, you can't go lunging like this.

"You have to get it absolutely spot on.

"He (Sessengnon) had to go."
