Hugo Lloris is backing Karim Benzema to find his goalscoring form for the French national team.
Benzema is in in the top echelon of strikers in the world but the Real Madrid star has been struggling for goals internationally, having found the back of the net only once occasion in his last 12 appearances for Les Bleus.
Such a poor return is certainly a cause for concern for France but goalkeeper Lloris is fully confident that Benzema will come good for the national team sooner rather than later.
Ahead of friendlies with Armenia and Denmark, the Tottenham star said: "He helps the team a lot. He would like to score a little more, obviously, but we are a team so we wish that the French national team scores much more. He's got a status here. He's really concerned about the collective. He's here to be the leader.
"Like in the past, a great French national team essentially needs a great collective. That's how the greatest individual skills of some players can be expressed. He's one of them. He'll lead the French national team where we want to be."
