Tottenham are not giving up on the signing of Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard.

The young Danish international starred for his country at Euro 2020, but a transfer to a big club did not materialize in the transfer window.

Italian outlet Tuttosport claims Spurs are still interested in Damsgaard, who is also wanted by the two Milan giants and Juventus.

The source also suggests that Damsgaard is suffering a slight hangover from his Euro 2020 heroics, as he is not showing his best qualities for Sampdoria so far this term.

Spurs will be hoping he can hit his best form, which would prompt them to push for a winter or summer transfer.
