Premier League side Tottenham are in talks with Argentina, Brazil and Colombia over their South American players.
Spurs are hoping to convince the above nations to release their players early from international duty next week.
Argentina's Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero, Colombia's Davinson Sanchez, and Brazil's Emerson Royal are the players in question.
According to the Evening Standard, Spurs are hoping for an early release, which would allow their players to come back to the UK, quarantine per UK government COVID-19 protocols, and then play in their Premier League game against Newcastle United on October 17th.
However, that would mean the players missing the last of their nation's World Cup Qualifiers during this international break.
