Tottenham hero Chris Waddle is unconvinced by Christian Eriksen's performances in big games.
Against Manchester City last week, the Dane was largely anonymous.
Waddle told the Mirror: “Eriksen walked around as if he wasn't interested against Manchester City. He believes that he is good enough to go to a Real Madrid or a Barcelona .
“Fair enough if a club like that shows an interest, but that doesn't appear to be the case. After that, what's the point of leaving Spurs to go to, say, a Sevilla or a similar European club?
“He's a good player, but not someone who is capable of dictating a game at Real Madrid , Barcelona or Bayern Munich . I can see why the Spurs fans like him, but he is not someone who grasps the big games.
“He stands out against the likes of Aston Villa , changing the game when he came on as a substitute. Hopefully, once the European window closes, he can focus on Spurs.
“And if the big clubs continue to ignore him, then take the new contract offer from Spurs, which is a good one, and help the club win something."
