Tottenham hero Glenn Hoddle says his old club faces a big rebuilding job.
Hoddle has said that Jose Mourinho was sacked at the wrong time and that the team needs rebuilding.
He told BT Sport ahead of Tottenham's defeat to Leeds today: "They're at a crossroads. Daniel Levy has done a wonderful job with the infrastructure at the club.
"Hopefully there would have been silverware, that's why Mourinho was brought in. It didn't work out. It was a big call to sack him before the final. I'm not sure it was the right time.
"There are bigger questions at Tottenham. It's not a top six team at the moment. It needs a rebuild on the pitch. There's a hell of a lot of work that needs to be done."
