Tottenham hero David Ginola has likened Harry Kane to Diego Maradona.
Kane produced a scintillating performance in Tottenham's 5-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday.
The 28-year-old didn't manage to get on the scoresheet himself but was influential throughout the match, and picked up an assist for Matt Doherty's header early in the second-half.
With the England skipper showing off his passing and all round ability in recent weeks, Kane has drawn the highest praise from former Spurs star Ginola.
Ginola said: "Spurs are looking very confident. They are relying on their assets and the finishing upfront it amazing.
"The new playmaker at Spurs is Harry Kane. He is like the new Diego Maradona now. Long passes, short passes, he has it all."
Former Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe agreed, saying: "He [Kane] never loses it. His passing ability is incredible. He's a complete footballer. Brilliant performance."
