Tottenham are going cold on Sporting CP fullback Pedro Porro.
Right wing back has been a long-standing concern for Tottenham manager Antonio Conte.
Tottenham have reportedly held an interest in signing Porro to resolve the problem position.
The club are unwilling to meet Sporting Lisbon's demand to pay his £40 million release clause, according to Sky Sports.
The full back was previously at Manchester City but failed to make an appearance for the Premier League champions.
Porro initially joined Sporting on a two-year loan deal before the Portuguese club activated a £7.2 million buy option.
Sporting confirmed Porro had a release clause of £40 million in his contract.
