Tottenham goalkeeper Michel Vorm has claimed that Spurs players get immense satisfaction from making the fans of the club proud.
The North London club are currently placed second in the table and are on course to achieve their best finish of the Premier League era which has made the Spurs faithful walk around with a new-found sense of self-confidence.
"Football is about emotion and that's something that came up after the game," Vorm told the club's official website.
"We can be so proud of what we're doing. The thing is, when you walk around, you meet Tottenham fans and they are so proud and that makes you feel proud as well.
"They approach you and there is so much respect and I feel that's something we've won this season.
"The fans are so proud and that's something we don't forget. If we're above Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, City and Liverpool in the table, that has to be a good thing."
