Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker-Peters is set to see out the season with Southampton.
The Daily Echo says for Walker-Peters to remain at Saints on loan, the club would have had to come to an agreement with Tottenham.
This has been the case and the defender will stay at St Mary's until the season finishes.
The 23-year-old wasn't 100 per cent fit when he joined Saints and had to wait until February 15 to make his debut against Burnley.
He lasted 73 minutes before being replaced by Michael Obafemi and hasn't featured for the club since.
