Arsenal boss Unai Emery was harangued by Tottenham fans on a flight to Madrid last week.

The Times says Emery opted to travel to the Spanish capital with his wife for the Champions League final but endured a flight to forget.

It has been reported that despite booking business class for the Iberia flight from Heathrow to Madrid last Friday, he had a journey from hell.

The flight was also full of Tottenham fans, and Arsenal's fierce London rivals quickly spotted that Emery was among the passengers.

Emery was allegedly jeered and heckles throughout the flight and he felt so uncomfortable that he moved away from his wife to spare her the abuse.

Tottenham were beaten by Liverpool on the night.
