Tottenham face competition from Borussia Dortmund for Hamburg striker Heung-Min Son.
The London Evening Standard says Son is one of Daniel Levy's targets for the summer and exploratory discussions have taken place, with Son thought to be keen on a move to London and the Premier League.
With Son out of contract at the end of next season and yet to sign the new one offered him, worth about £45,000 a week, Spurs were quietly confident of concluding a £10million deal in the summer. The interest from Dortmund has, however, complicated their pursuit.
Son's preference had been to move to the Premier League and only last month the South Korean is thought to have told friends that he expected to move to White Hart Lane.
