Tottenham are eyeing FC Koln midfielder Leonardo Bittencourt.

BILD says Monaco and Hoffenheim are thought to be monitoring the former Germany Under-21 star who has a bargain £7million release clause with his relegated Bundesliga side.

Fallen giants Koln seem resigned to losing the 24-year-old, who is also interesting Spurs.

The ex-Borussia Dortmund and Hannover 90 ace has until May 31 to withdraw his exit clause.

But it would be a major surprise if Bitttencourt decides to stay.
