Tottenham have been encouraged in their interest for Fulham wing-back Ryan Sessegnon.

The Mirror says Spurs have been boosted in the pursuit of Sessegnon who is stalling on signing a new deal.

The left winger who is out of contract at the end of the next season doesn't want to leave London which will be a blow to Manchester United.

They have been preparing a £50 million bid for Sessegnon, 18, who is rated as one of the brightest young talents in the country.

Fulham have been trying to tie him down onto a new long-term contract for months, but they have been unable to reach an agreement.

Sessegnon's decision to stay in London is also bad news for French giants Paris Saint-Germain, who have been chasing him for the last year.
