Tottenham duo Walker, Townsend in as Everton defender Stones withdraws from England squad

The Football Association have announced some changes to the England national team in the lead-up to Friday's Euro2016 qualifier with Estonia.

Tottenham pair Kyle Walker and Andros Townsend have both been called up by Roy Hodgson with Everton defender John Stones withdrawing due to injury.

21-year-old Stones had been selected in the initial Three Lions squads for the final tow qualifying meetings with Estonia and Lithuania in Vilnius next week but missed Sunday's Merseyside derby with Liverpool and is now unavailable for his country.

"Everton defender John Stones, who missed the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Sunday, has been ruled out due to injury," an FA statement read.

Spurs right-back Walker and winger Townsend have now been included as England prepare to finish their qualifying campaign with a 100% record having won their previous eight fixtures.
